I’m the scriptwriter and producer developing AVBS.
I’ve dreamed of making audio drama from my first experience of radio in college. This has led me to work for over a decade in community radio as a presenter and producer. Including for GCAP Media, Scratch Radio (Birmingham), Reverb FM (Brighton) and Resonance FM (London).
I’ve got a BA in creative writing and an MA in scriptwriting (Goldsmiths). My chosen subject matter is political or constitutional in nature, sometimes with a science fiction twist.
To support myself and my family whilst working on this project I have been a bartender, a labourer, and lately, a wedding DJ. Now though, I am privileged enough to be focussed solely on making A Very British Sabotage, via my production company Marximum Volume.

Hannah studied Drama at the University of Hull, having spent a life obsessed with theatre and film. After graduating she went on to complete her MA at the Central School of Speech and Drama, launching a 15-year acting career on stage and screen.
After moving from London to Frome, she moved into freelance film production, working primarily on campaign films for organisations including Zero Hour, Shelter, Cure Parkinson’s, UNAIDS and more. She is also an audiobook producer for publishers including Penguin Random House, HarperCollins and Bloomsbury.
After years producing campaign films for organisations fighting for social change, working on a project that sits at the intersection of political drama and independent media feels like the perfect next step.
